Michigan cannabis sales plunge 11.3% month over month

Michigan’s recorded $251.3 million in medical and recreational sales in September, down 11.3% compared to the previous month, according to the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency. That is the largest monthly change in sales since a 13.25% decline from December 2023 to January 2024.

Compared to September of 2024, adult-use sales declined 5.6%. Michigan’s $3.2 billion annual cannabis market is the second largest in the U.S., trailing only California.
