The City of Detroit issued the second wave of adult-use licenses last week. The round two licenses include four consumption lounges, two social equity microbusinesses and 30 retailers – 15 of which are also social equity. In an effort to increase diversity and local ownership, the licenses awarded include women-majority owned businesses and locally owned businesses.
